ICPHER Training and Capacity Building (ITCB)
ICPHER has through its years of existence designed and delivered result-oriented training and capacity building programs for a wide range of actors and sectors to become one of the leading firms in capacity enhancement. Our training and capacity building portfolio includes formal training and capacity enhancement programmes, combing a wide range of robust and dynamic techniques and processes towards making our work client centered and tailor-made for the specific client the specific client to bring forth the expected results.
One of the core elements in the ITCB portfolio is our strength and competency in curriculum development. In this, ICPHER has worked with numerous institutions to develop curricula for implementation as training modules for a wide range of target clients ranging from high level management training and capacity building to community-based trainings. We consider curriculum development a key component of developing relevant, client-oriented and effective training packages complete with training modules and delivery manuals.
All our training and curriculum development initiatives are based on solid research-informed Training Needs Assessment (TNA) that are conducted in open and participatory processes aimed at capturing the current levels of knowledge vis-à-vis the expected levels of knowledge to carefully understand the existing gap. In addition to this, our training approaches and methodologies have evolved over time to incorporate and leverage on Information Communication and Technology (ICT) for more effective and efficient delivery.
To this end, ICPHER embraced online /virtual learning as a platform that has the potential to change the design and delivery of training even before the emergence of COVID-19. So far, we have developed a wide range of virtual training packages and are in the process of converting most of our training materials to online/virtual learning. To facilitate this, ICPHER has a strong and dedicated team of IT professionals working under the Curriculum Development Consultant to convert all training programs to online/virtual training.
